Here is a circa late 1800s pair of gold wire-framed eyeglasses, as well as an accompanying black hard leather case with black velvet lining. Overall, these Victorian spectacles are in superb condition—as is the case.
The lenses do appear to be of minor prescription strength fittings; however, note that these are not simply clear-glass fashion lenses. These were customized, owned, and worn by someone else long ago. We do not do prescription fitting.
This set of spectacles is certain to be a conversation starter for anyone who encounters them.
