This antique meerschaum calabash estate pipe is in excellent condition, and is likely one of the highest quality gourd pipes of its kind on the market today. We have carefully restored it to like–new condition. Unlike many imitations on the market today (which are typically made of mahogany wood), this calabash pipe is made of genuine African calabash gourd, with a high-quality, unsmoked meerschaum bowl and professionally restored vulcanite stem. Includes a concrete and cork 'Vivaljo' calabash desk holder (see photos) so that you can quickly and conveniently return your pipe to its elegant resting place on your desk when you are finished with your smoke.

The bowl has been replaced by a brand new, high quality meerschaum insert that has been twice coated in beeswax to ensure that the porous stone is protected and ages with a lovely, even patina as it is smoked. The stem is crisp & has been professionally polished to a high shine; it is entirely free of oxidation and has been thoroughly sanitized. Tooth chatter has been entirely removed from the mouthpiece, returning it to like-new condition. The inside of the African gourd has been carefully reamed and sanitized. We have done all the work for you so you can enjoy your pipe right out of the package!

What is an Estate Pipe?
Estate pipes are pre-owned and/or pre-smoked tobacco pipes, which allows them to be sold at a lower rate than similar pipes that are sold direct from the manufacturer.
